Warriors & Nike Team up with Sager Strong Foundation to show respect and release Sneakers and Shirts

While a new NBA season is about to start, our favorite sideline reporter unfortunately won’t be able to make it. Craig Sager has been battling leukemia for years now and sadly won’t be healthy enough to work the sidelines for the forseeable future.  But ever since Sager has publicly spoken about his disease for the first time, the NBA community has helped with raising funds for the SagerStrong Foundation.

Now, Nike has designed Craig Sager sneakers, that are as colorful as Sager’s outfits. They just released the limited edition Sager Strong Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. The man himself, Craig Sager was part of the design team for the shoes, which will be sold via an auction tonight at 7 pm EST. Bleacher Report reported, that only 100 pairs are available and the auction winners will get the sneakers custom made for their size.

The Sager Strong Foundation also designed T-Shirts, who will be sold come tomorrow in true Sager fashion. The Golden State Warriors teamed up with City National Bank to show their support. Craig Sager shirts will be given out to all fans in attendance for tonight’s season opener against the Spurs.
