Victor Wembanyama Shuts Down Dennis Schröder: “I Don’t Need Your Help!”

Ah, some good old German-French rivalry…

During the Toronto Raptors game against the San Antonio Spurs this past Sunday, the Raptors were able to erase a huge deficit, to come back and win the game in overtime.

Towards the end of the second quarter, Victor Wembanyama dropped on the floor, leading to Dennis Schröder trying to help him up again. The Frenchman however, ignored the German and only accepted the help of his teammate Tre Jones.

The following conversation between Schröder and Wembanyama has now been caught up on and was refurbished for everyone to hear.

Dennis Schröder: “I was trying to help you out.”

Victor Wembanyama: “I don’t need your help!”
