The MVP race is going down to the wire. At this point, it’s baffling to vouch for any other player other than Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid. The two players have been at the top of the league all season long and have now entrenched themselves in a rightful two-man race.

Jokic, who has won the award in back-to-back seasons, has proven to be so dominant that the opportunity to win a third MVP is just standing in front of him. He’s nearly posting a triple-double season average (24.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 9.9 assists, 0.7 blocks and 1.2 steals on brutal efficiency) this year while leading the Nuggets to the top seed in the Western Conference.

Embiid on the other hand is posting 33.0 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.0 steals.

While it definitely is a tough choice to be made, two-time MVP Stephen Curry revealed that he would go with Joel Embiid as the 2023 NBA MVP.

Per Bleacher Report:

“I would say Joel. Any person you pick, their body of work could be compared to Jokic or Giannis. But Joel took a leap that I think a lot of people didn’t expect because he was dominant already. That leap turned heads and put Philly in a great position. If I had to pick, it would be him.”
