Shaquille O’Neal Calls Out Rudy Gobert For His Reaction To Being Booed By Timberwolves Fans: “Crying To The Fans”

Shaquille O’Neal has often criticized Rudy Gobert over the past few years, and that has not changed at all this time around as O’Neal made some comments on the recent rant of the Minnesota Timberwolves big man.

The Timberwolves haven’t been winning a lot of games as expected this season, and their fans are letting them know about it with a series of boos at home. Gobert recently talked about this and made it known that he doesn’t appreciate being booed by fans.

“I just don’t appreciate people that come in to boo your team. When you’re a fan, you gotta support your team in the tough or the good moments. There’s no team in NBA history that only had good moments, so if you’re not going to support us in the tough moments, just stay home. I think if you’re going to embrace us in the tough moments, then come and then we’re going to love the support,” Gobert said, according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

O’Neal eventually caught wind of Gobert’s comments and decided to waste no time sounding off on the Timberwolves defensive center for apparently ‘crying to the fans’.

“Get 25 rebounds, get nine blocks. Stop letting people dunk on you. Put somebody on your ass about that instead of crying to the fans.”
