Shaq Reveals That An Angry Ben Simmons  Sent Multiple DMs To Him In Response To His Rant On ‘Inside the NBA’

Ben Simmons hasn’t participated in a Sixers game since Game 7 of the second-round series against the Atlanta Hawks in the previous 2021 NBA playoffs. The hopes of Simmons returning to the court still seems very unlikely.

After a hampered trade demand and failure to cooperate with the team during practices and meetings early in the season, Simmons has shifted his focus on working on his mental health and cited this as one of the reasons why he doesn’t intend to appear in a Sixers game just yet.

While the Sixers listened to Simmons and even offered him professional assistance to help him with his mental health issues, the 25-year old Sixers point guard believes the team had made an attempt to force him into playing.

Newest rumors now suggest that the Sixers may hold onto Simmons until the end of the season, in order to facilitate a sign-and-trade for James Harden.

Various media personalities and former players have criticized Simmons for his behavior, one of the being NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

Last week on TNT’s Inside the NBA, Shaq absolutely ripped Simmons, wouldn’t call him by name, and called him “soft” and a “crybaby” who can’t take criticism.

Simmons seemed to have seen the segment and angrily reached out to O’Neal.

In the latest edition of his The Big Podcast with Shaq, O’Neal revealed that Simmons sent him multiple DMs.
