Paul George Throws Shade At James Harden In Response To His Shooting Woes

With last night’s win in Game 3, the Los Angeles Clippers have taken back the series lead against the Dallas Mavericks with two games to one.

But if we’re being honest, they can call themselves lucky to be in the lead. In game one, Kristaps Porzingis was ejected after a very soft call by the referees, in game three, Luka Doncic had to leave the game due to an ankle injury.

While Kawhi Leonard has been phenomenal so far in these playoffs, the Clippers’ second best player, Paul George has been struggling heavily.

After a decent performance in Game 1, Paul has shot 4-17 from the field and 2-10 from the floor in Game 2, and 3-16 from the field and 1-8 from 3 in Game 3.

When asked about his woes, George admitted that he currently is in a shooting slump, but also said that he has never been just a scorer and shooter but more of a ‘do everything’ guy. Instead of fully owning up to his bad shooting performances, Paul George ended up throwing shade at James Harden for no apparent reason:

“I’m no James Harden. That’s not my knack to just shoot the ball, score the ball. I can, and I pride myself on being effective on both ends.”
