NBA Twitter Reacts To Jimmy Butler Challenging Head Coach Brett Brown
Here we go again! At what point will Jimmy Butler finally put his own house in order?
He’s been a problem wherever he’s played. At the end of his Chicago days, during his stint with the Minnesota Timberwolves and now also with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Fans and media already were concerned about yet another Butler blowup after only a few games into his Sixers career due to a lesser usage rate. Back then, Butler said:
“I don’t care how many points I score, how many shots I shoot. I’ve always been like that. I always will continue to be that way. Just win at all cost….I’m all for winning. I’m not worried about being an All-Star. I’m not worried about that, any of that stuff. I think winning takes care of everything.” – Per Philly.com
This seems to have changed now. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne, Butler has aggressively challenged Sixers head coach Brett Brown over his role in the offense.
Reporting with @ramonashelburne: Philadelphia’s Jimmy Butler has aggressively challenged coach Brett Brown on All-Star’s role in 76ers offense, complicating an already-tenuous chemistry among team’s Big 3 hierarchy. Story on ESPN. https://t.co/DYqEAZNzM1

Without regard to this story specifically, Jimmy Butler's actions have repeatedly shown he cares about one thing: Jimmy Butler. He does it under the guise of "I just want to win," but that can't always be your excuse for blowing up everything around you.
