NBA Twitter Had Fun Ripping James Harden After Awful Shooting Night
Last night, in the Rockets’ loss to the Thunder, James Harden shot 1-of-17 from three, scoring 29 points (9-of-29 FGs, 10-of-13 FTs) with nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 39 minutes.
The 1-of-17 not only tied him for the most missed threes in a game in NBA history for the third time in his career, it also was the worst single-game three-point percentage for a player who has attempted at least 12 3-pointers.
NBA Twitter obviously had the best time ripping Harden for the awful shooting night, and as always, the internet stayed undefeated.
The biggest issue in Houston is lack of accountability. There's no one to tell James Harden to try something else when something isn't working.
Chris Paul tried, and he was traded.
Kevin McHale tried, and he was fired.

I’ve defended James Harden forever & seen what he’s capable of at his best. But this recent stretch of awful play has legitimately made me question his heart and hunger to win.
I hate dipping into cliches, but I try harder than him at my Sunday pickup game. This is unacceptable.
