NBA Twitter Debates If Tyrese Maxey Was Fed Up With James Harden During ‘Bench Incident’ Against Miami
Things were decided pretty early between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of their conference semifinal series.
So with almost five minutes to go in the fourth quarter, Doc Rivers subbed out his starters to grant them some rest for the upcoming games.
As Tyrese Maxey and James Harden headed to the bench though, fans couldn’t help but notice a strange interaction, or even altercation between the two. As Harden sat down next to Maxey, Maxey got up immediately to sit somewhere else.
While some fans believe Maxey actually was fed up with Harden, others believe that he was called over by assistant coach Sam Cassell.
