Mike Bibby Under Investigation For Sexual Abuse

Mike Bibby definitely had an above average NBA career. The former point guard played in the league for 14 seasons. After starting out his career with the Vancouver Grizzlies, he had his best years in Sacramento.

Bibby played for the Kings from 2001-2008 and was part of one of the most exciting teams to never win a title.

When he retired in 2012 he’s had career averages of 14.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He may not have been a superstar, but he was a great player who will be remembered… at least by the older generations.

These days, Mike Bibby is a high school head coach in Arizona. But Bibby now is under investigation for sexual abuse. According to The Arizona Republic, Bibby was accused of sexually abusing a fellow teacher at the high school where he coaches. The teacher stated that Bibby grabbed her by the waist and rubbed his genitals on her. The teacher was already granted a restraining order against Bibby, whose attorney denies the claims:

“I can say with pretty much certainty this alleged incident didn’t happen and that will be shown down the road. Michael Bibby did not participate in a sexual assault of any way, shape or form that was alleged by this lady two years ago.”

We’ll keep you updated on this case, and will provide more details and informations when they are released.
