Magic Johnson Urges Fans To Mention Donovan Mitchell Alongside Stephen Curry, LeBron James

The Utah Jazz grounded out two wins against the Los Angeles Clippers, and Donovan Mitchell has shined. In two games against the Clippers, he’s averaging 41 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game on 52.5% shooting from the field.

Mitchell is proving that he’s well on his way to a higher tier in the hierarchy of NBA’s top players. While he’s just starting to put everything together, Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson believes that the Utah Jazz star has already achieved a bigger status.

On Twitter, Magic Johnson drew high praise for the young Utah Jazz star. Without a prompt, Magic mentioned Mitchell as a player who deserves to be mentioned alongside Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Stephen Curry.  

“Donovan Mitchell is a bonafide superstar, scoring 45 points in Game 1 and 37 points in Game 2! We have to start mentioning his name more with the KDs, LeBrons, Stephs, etc.”
