LeBron James Exchanges Words With Cameron Payne, Tells Him To Stay Humble
LeBron James played over 36 minutes and contributed 25 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists in Friday’s 105-115 loss versus the Phoenix Suns. During the game, LeBron found himself in an exchange of words with Suns backup point guard Cameron Payne.
It was unclear what sparked their verbal exchange, but one thing’s for sure, LeBron didn’t like Payne’s antics, now that the 27-year old point guard is playing regular minutes with the Suns after his NBA career hit rock bottom right around the year 2019.
Several words were exchanged including LeBron telling Payne to ‘stay humble’.
“Stay humble now, stay humble. You was at home a year and a half ago, now you wanna pop off? Come on, don’t do that.”
