Kevin Durant’s Live Reaction To Gordon Hayward’s Injury

You simply couldn’t imagine a worse debut than what Gordon Hayward had to live through in his first game as a Celtic. After only about five minutes, Hayward went down with a horrific ankle injury that will most likely keep him out for the rest of the season.

The entire NBA community was shaken and came together. A huge amount of tweets, thoughts and prayers from NBA players reached Gordon Hayward. While we saw the reactions of Cavs and Celtics players inside the arena as it happened, Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant was preparing for his first match of the season. He also was watching the game, and now posted a YouTube video that contains his live reaction to Hayward’s horrific injury.

 

“We know Gordon’s gonna bounce back and still be Gordon Hayward when he gets back from injury. But it just sucks to see, man. We’re all praying for him. We got his back. This is a fraternity. When stuff like that happens, we gotta rally around each other.”
