Jayson Tatum Says LeBron James Is The Best Player Today’s NBA And The Second Greatest Player Of All-Time

LeBron James will always be a hot topic when it comes to the best player title and all-time great rankings. At age 35, he continues to prove that the throne still belongs to him.

Jayson Tatum has matched up with LeBron quite a few times and has a first-hand experience of James’ dominance in the playoffs. In an Instagram live, Tatum revealed why he thinks LeBron is still the best player in the planet.

“Bro we talking about the second greatest player of all time, and KD is like the 11th,” said Tatum.

“LeBron the best, he the best player bro. He the best player until he no longer the best, like he got it. KD number two, Kawhi number three.”

Tatum was a fan of LeBron growing up. He went to his camps and even has a picture with him as a kid and LeBron. The two later on faced each other in the 2018 playoffs, where LeBron’s team prevailed in 7 games against the Boston Celtics. The Boston forward may have lost, but he earned LeBron’s respect, getting the best of him during the series.

Tatum’s Greatest Player of All-Time, however, wasn’t revealed. We could assume it was Michael Jordan, but Tatum was too young to watch Michael Jordan. Kobe Bryant has a great case to be his GOAT. After all, he looked up to Kobe and grew up idolizing him, before Kobe even became his mentor.
