Jaylen Brown Calls For Investigation After Controversial Loss To Pacers: “Got The Right To Be Upset”

The Indiana Pacers managed to secure a victory against the Boston Celtics last night, with a final score of 133-131. It’s worth noting that the Pacers faced a challenge in the second half without Tyrese Haliburton.

However, the game concluded with a fair amount of controversy. When the game was tied with only four seconds to play, Jaylen Brown was initially awarded a foul call that would have given him the opportunity to shoot free throws and potentially change the outcome of the game.

Yet, the Pacers decided to challenge the call, resulting in its overturn, even though it appeared as Brown was hit in the head by Buddy Hield.

On the subsequent play, the Pacers themselves received a foul call, allowing Bennedict Mathurin to make the game-winning free throws.

The Celtics rightfully were upset. Jaylen Brown could be seen saying “that was bullsh*t dawg… That was bullsh*t man’, over the overturned call.

After the game, Brown doubled down and got candid about the more than controversial end:

“I think we got the right to be upset… that one should be investigated.”

Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla was equally irritated about the call. In his post game press conference, Mazzulla sarcastically shared that he’s looking forward to the NBA’s two-minute report.

“Buddy Hield told me he fouled, so I can’t wait for the two-minute report tomorrow.”
