GG Jackson Had The Most Wholesome Reaction To Being Interviewed By Shaquille O’Neal

The Memphis Grizzlies are currently facing loads of adversity with four of their five starters, as well as some bench players, out with long-term injuries.

This however, also is a chance for the remaining supporting cast to use their new-gained spotlight and make a name for themselves.

One of these guys is GG Jackson. The Grizzlies’ second round pick not only is the youngest player in the NBA right now, he also became the third youngest player to ever record back-to-back 20+ point games (behind LeBron James and Kevin Durant).

GG Jackson had an impressive performance in Monday’s game against the Warriors. He played for 29 minutes and contributed greatly to the team’s 116-107 victory. Jackson scored 23 points, making six out of nine field goals and six out of eight free throws. He also grabbed six rebounds, provided one assist, had two steals, two blocks, and sank five 3-pointers.

Just two nights before, Jackson achieved a career-high in points by scoring 20 in a game against the Knicks.

Again, with several players injured on the Grizzlies’ roster, Jackson has ample opportunity to demonstrate his abilities, particularly on the offensive end. This also led to him being featured on Inside the NBA on TNT after the game. As he had his first big national TV interview, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal congratulated the young player, leaving Jackson absolutely stunned as soon as he heard and recognized Shaq’s voice. One of the best reactions in recent history.
