Everything You Need To Know From Last Night’s Games (11/10/2016)

– The Pelicans FINALLY won a game.

– It wasn’t pretty, and went down to the wire, but they got there in the end.

– Anthony Davis had 32 points in the victory.

– Jabari Parker continued his stellar form with 33 points of his own.

– Dwyane Wade received a standing ovation on his return to Miami.

– The Bulls and the Heat played out a close, but very boring affair in South Beach.

– Neither team really played well as the Bulls survived.

– A couple of late Jason Richardson 3 pointers made it interesting, but Dwyane Wade hit two clutch free throws at the end of the game to seal the victory amidst some boos from the home crowd as the game was on the line.

– Strangely, the Heat ran everything through Justice Winslow, as they put the ball in his hands to make plays down the stretch for them.

– Hassan Whiteside had 20 points and 20 rebounds but was outplayed by Robin Lopez as the box score lies to us tonight.

– The Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry were too good for the Nuggets in Denver.

– The Warriors give up 100 points again but score 125 of their own.

– Curry had 33 on the night along with 7 threes.

– Kevin Durant registered 18 points, which breaks his streak of 20+ point games. It finishes his streak at 72 straight games and ties Micheal Jordan for the 4th longest such streak in NBA History.

– No one from Denver scored more than 14 points (Jamal Murray).

– Denver brought back down to earth after their terrific start to the season.

– The Los Angeles Lakers rally from as much as 19 points down to beat the Kings on their home floor.

– A strong second half from the young Lakers as well as timely and big shots from Nick Young lifted them to a huge road victory.

– A 21 minute scoring drought from DeMarcus Cousins allowed the Lakers back into the contest and they took full advantage.
