CJ McCollum Had Hilarious Reaction To Wild Tweet About His Collapsed Lung

The New Orleans Pelicans announced that guard CJ McCollum has a small pneumothorax in his right lung after undergoing various tests yesterday.

The 32-year-old’s right lung is apparently affected. The Pelicans want to determine how long the guard will be out for with further examinations within the next few days.

This is the second time McCollum has suffered from a pneumothorax. He was also diagnosed with pneumothorax in December 2021, when it took around five weeks before McCollum was back on the court.

On Twitter, McCollum had a pretty hilarious reaction to a tweet from Basketball Forever. The account reported McCollum’s injury with a picture of him with his hand on his chest.

McCollum couldn’t believe the tweet and reacted accordingly.
