CJ McCollum Destroys Narrative That Stephen Curry Has No Help

The Golden State Warriors are displaying a pile of flaws and mishaps five games into the season, and it couldn’t get any worse. The former NBA champions are 2-3 to start the season, and much of the accountability is directed towards their best player, Stephen Curry, who has been the talk of the town for not being able to carry the team to considerable wins.

While the critics have been hostile on the Warriors superstar, a ton of Warriors fans and Curry stans alike are on the other side of this table. One popular social media personality known as ‘FamousLos32’, for instance, took it to Twitter and shifted the criticism on Curry’s teammates instead, creating a narrative that Curry is playing with G-league players.

“Steph playing with all G league players and the narratives be funny comparing ish ! When he had actual NBA players every one was quiet Atleast Dame and CJ got NBA players on they team”

Coming across this comment was Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard CJ McCollum. Responding on Twitter, McCollum right away defended the Warriors players that were under scrutiny and destroyed the narrative that Curry is playing with G-league players.

“Bruh stop it lol. Ghey got Wiggins, Kelly , dray coming back from injury and the No. 2 pick. Can’t disrespect those NBA players like that.”

Curry, being one of the greatest point guards of all-time, is expected to carry this Warriors team into the playoffs, but a slow start into the season puts Curry in a hot seat, surrounded by narratives that go along the lines that he couldn’t lead a team without playing with another All-Star.
