Bryn Forbes Charged With Assault/Family Violence After Allegedly Hitting And Choking Mother Of Their Children

Former NBA player Bryn Forbes finds himself in another troubling situation.

On Tuesday morning, Forbes was taken into custody and now faces charges of assaulting a family member. The incident occurred on Monday when police were called due to a disturbance.

According to official reports, Forbes went to the apartment of the woman who is the mother of their children and forcefully knocked on the window while she was asleep.

She revealed that their relationship has been on and off for the past 13 years. Authorities state that when she opened the door, Forbes physically attacked her, hitting her and even attempting to choke her.

Thankfully, the woman was able to run away and get help. Forbes, who played for the Minnesota Timberwolves last year, is now facing assault charges.

The 30-year-old had previously been arrested in February 2023, also on a family violence charge. However, those charges were eventually dropped after he successfully completed pre-trial diversion.
