Barack Obama’s Brother-In-Law Craig Robinson Accepts Managing Role Within The Knicks Organisation

Normally, a move like this would not be worth reporting, but when it comes to a former president’s family, we might as well talk about it. At least in the off-season.

According to a report of Yahoo Sports, Milwaukee Bucks front-office executive Craig Robinson has accepted a new position within the Knicks organisation. ‘Craig Robinson who?’ you may ask. Craig Robinson is the brother-in-law of former president Barack Obama.

via Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports:

Milwaukee Bucks front-office executive Craig Robinson, the brother-in-law of former President Barack Obama, has accepted a position with the New York Knicks, league sources told The Vertical.

Robinson plans to fill multiple roles for the franchise, including player development and serving as general manager of the Knicks’ development league team in Westchester, league sources said.

Basketball and the Obama family go well together as we know. Not only is Barack Obama a decent basketball player, he also plans on owning his own NBA team at some point in the future.

Robinson himself has some close ties with the Knicks front-office, as he played college ball together with Knicks president Steve Mills at Princeton. While we don’t know which position Robinson will take over, it has been rumored that he might become the new General Manager of the Knicks’ G-League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks.
