Bam Adebayo On Jimmy Butler: “We Knew Jimmy Was An Asshole”

Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are two of the main reasons why the Miami Heat have secured themselves the number one seed in the Eastern Conference.

Adebayo is a defensive player of the year candidate, and Jimmy Butler has fully embraced the leader role the Heat had in mind when trading for him a couple of years ago.

On top of that, the two have become good friends ever since Butler has joined the Heat. The two also make fun of each other constantly.

During his appearance on ‘The Old Man and the Three’ podcast, Bam now reveled that Butler is an asshole, and that everyone on the Heat knew that Butler was an asshole before trading for him.

“We kinda embraced who Jimmy was. We knew Jimmy was an asshole at the end of the day. We all know that. But, like, this culture embraces that. We want you to bring that assholeness out so then on the court we got all five people that are like dogs. We want all five of y’all to be assholes cause at that point, y’all not gonna take no sh*t and we not backing down from anybody.”
