Andrew Bogut Came Up With Ingenuous Idea For Kevin Durant To Get Traded Immediately: “A Simple Tweet: Free Hong Kong”

The Brooklyn Nets are currently mired by a lot of noise as opposing teams continue to plot a trade for two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant, who has made it known that he wants out of Brooklyn after three seasons with the team.

While the Nets’ asking price remains too high for a potential suitor, Durant doubled down on his trade request last week, when he told Nets owner Joe Tsai, that he’d only be willing to stay, if the team got rid of head coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks.

Plenty of people think this ultimatum of Durant ultimately was made public in order for the asking price to be reduced by the Nets. But if Durant wanted to make sure that he gets traded, former NBA big man Andrew Bogut now came up with an ingenuous idea.

“An easy way for KD to get out of Joe Tsai‘s Brooklyn Nets that no NBA analyst is discussing. A simple tweet: “Free Hong Kong, Free Taiwan”. Gone the next day…..”

Tsai, a Taiwanese born Hong Kong (and Canadian) citizen, who became a billionaire as a co-founder of Alibaba, has repeatedly supported China and went against Daryl Morey in a letter a couple of years ago.

If Kevin Durant really wanted to be traded as soon as possible, this actually might be the easiest way.
