The Portland Trail Blazers have introduced a creative new campaign designed to connect Ja Morant with his new fanbase.
The team announced the launch of “Call Ja,” a dedicated hotline that allows supporters to leave Morant a voicemail welcoming him to Portland. Fans can reach the line by calling 1-855-CALL-1-JA.
The promotion also gives participating fans an opportunity to win a jersey autographed by Morant. The Trail Blazers directed supporters to the official “Call Ja” page for additional information about the campaign and its giveaway.
Portland presented the hotline with the message, “Rip City… You called?” while encouraging fans to record their own welcome messages for the star guard. The organization also teased that it would be listening to the submitted voicemails, leaving open the possibility that selected messages could later appear in team content.
