LeBron James Claims Will Anderson Jr. As The Family Secret

LeBron James has spent more than two decades answering serious questions with the patience of a man who has seen every media angle imaginable. Every now and then, though, he reminds everyone that he can still turn a postgame scrum into stand-up.

Asked about Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. after the game, LeBron did not offer the standard athlete-to-athlete compliment. He went full sitcom.

“That’s my 4th child. Him and Bronny are twins and nobody knows it. Me and Savannah been trying to keep it under wraps for a long time.”

Anderson, one of the NFL’s most explosive young defensive players, has often looked like he was built in the same lab where football creates its problem-solvers. LeBron apparently chose a different explanation: secret family genetics.

Sports can drown itself in debate, pressure and legacy math. Sometimes the best postgame quote is just a 41-year-old basketball legend pretending an NFL pass-rusher is Bronny’s long-lost twin.
