When Kobe’s High School PG Interviewed Kobe After A Philly Game
We’ve shared this story in the past, but I’ve seen it pop back up after the tragic loss of Kobe Bryant, this past Sunday, and it’s definitely worth seeing again.
After a Lakers game in Philadelphia in 2015, Kobe’s Lower Merion high school point guard, Evan Monsky, surprised him during the post game press conference.
While Monsky was wondering if Kobe even remembered, or recognized him, Bryant went on to call him the greatest point guard he’s ever played with.
This is one great video!

Kob and his family were always extremely nice to me, my family and friends. Even though I did not get to see a lot of him the past 20 or so years, every time I did he would bust my chops, dap me up and leave me feeling like I was the special one. I will miss my friend. pic.twitter.com/RnqjKK5b0w
