Kobe Bryant’s Newest Sneakers Are A Tribute To The Team That Actually Drafted Him

Nike will release a new Kobe Bryant sneaker in February of 2019; the Nike Kobe 4 Protro, which is an updated version of the Nike Zoom Kobe 4.

The special thing about the sneaker is the colorway, who are a ‘tribute’ to the team that actually drafted and foolishly traded him, the Charlotte Hornets.

While we don’t know if using the Hornets’ colors are meant to be a positive ‘tribute’, or just a reminder to the team of one of the worst franchise decisions in NBA history, the shoe looks amazing.
