The Cleveland Cavaliers had plenty to celebrate during Friday night’s 119-95 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. But two lucky fans might have enjoyed an even more unforgettable evening than the players themselves.
During an in-game promotional contest at Rocket Arena, two Cavaliers supporters accomplished something extraordinary: they made consecutive half-court shots, winning $10,000 apiece.
The first contestant stepped up and successfully launched the ball from midcourt, sending the crowd into celebration and securing a five-figure payday.
Then came the second participant. With the pressure suddenly raised considerably, the next fan followed with another successful attempt from the same distance, producing an almost unbelievable sequence.

Two shots. Two makes. $20,000 in prize money. The Cavaliers celebrated the moment on social media, describing it as the first time their Kia-sponsored half-court shooting promotion had produced two $10,000 winners in the same contest.
And while the fans were busy delivering one of the night’s most memorable highlights, Cleveland’s actual basketball team was taking care of business.
Donovan Mitchell recorded 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds, while Evan Mobley contributed 22 points as the Cavaliers comfortably defeated Philadelphia in NBA Cup group play.
