During the Warriors’ open practice event on Thursday, Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry teamed up to pull off a lighthearted prank on teammate Buddy Hield.
The setup unfolded during a Warriors shootaround, where a young fan was invited to participate in the session. With Curry whispering instructions into a kid’s ear and Butler egging him on, the kid approached Hield, only to dramatically toss his jersey at him. The stunned look on Hield’s face was priceless, and both Curry and Butler erupted in laughter as the prank landed perfectly.

This isn’t the first time Butler and Hield have shared playful exchanges. Since Butler joined the Warriors last season, their on-and-off-court banter has become a fan favorite, with Butler famously comparing Hield to “Robin” in a Batman analogy that sparked a wave of memes.
