A one-of-a-kind basketball card featuring NBA legends Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan is currently up for auction, and it’s making waves in the sports memorabilia world. Expected to fetch over $6 million, this card could become the most expensive basketball card ever sold at public auction.
The card originates from the 2007–08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection. What sets this particular card apart is its singularity: it’s the only known example that features autographs from both Bryant and Jordan, along with dual NBA Logoman patches. Bryant’s patch showcases the classic red, white, and blue logo, while Jordan’s is a rare gold-and-white variation. The card is stamped with a 1-of-1 serial number, confirming that no other like it exists.
Chris Ivy, Director of Sports Auctions at Heritage Auctions, underscored the card’s significance, noting that it is the only Logoman card ever produced featuring just Jordan and Bryant. He added that due to Bryant’s tragic death in 2020, this card will forever remain a singular tribute to his legacy.
As of August 16, bidding had already climbed past $5.3 million, with experts predicting a final sale price north of $6.1 million. The card is being offered through Heritage’s Summer Platinum Night Sports Auction, scheduled for August 23–24. The consignor reportedly declined multiple private offers in the seven-figure range, choosing instead to let the public auction unfold in honor of the two basketball icons.

If the card sells for its projected price, it will eclipse previous records held by Stephen Curry’s $5.9 million rookie Logoman autograph and LeBron James’ $5.2 million Exquisite rookie patch autograph.
