DeMarcus Cousins Thinks OKC Thunder Could Be Building A Bigger Dynasty Than The Golden State Warriors

The Oklahoma City Thunder are back in the NBA Finals for the first time since 2012. That year felt like the start of a dynasty with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden, but it all fell apart before anything really happened. Now with a new core, OKC is hoping the ending turns out better.

The Thunder were on top all season, winning 68 games and carrying that momentum into a strong playoff run. The Indiana Pacers are on a roll too and have been just as fun to watch. But if OKC keeps this up, we might be seeing the start of something that lasts longer than just one season.

Former NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins isn’t waiting for the Finals to wrap up. He believes this OKC team is built to become a dynasty and even thinks the Thunder could surpass the scale of what the Golden State Warriors accomplished.

“It’s a dynasty that’ll be even more powerful than what we saw with the Warriors.”
