The basketball world has come together to support Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving after the devastating news of his season-ending ACL injury. The nine-time All-Star suffered the injury during a game against the Sacramento Kings, leaving fans and players alike heartbroken. In the wake of the announcement, several NBA players have sent heartfelt messages to Irving.
One of the first to reach out was Irving’s former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate, Kevin Love. The Miami Heat forward took to social media to express his support, writing,

Love and Irving shared memorable moments during their time together in Cleveland, including winning the 2016 NBA Championship.
Luka Dončić, Irving’s former backcourt partner in Dallas before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, also shared a touching message. Dončić posted on Instagram,
“You will come back stronger, mi hermano!” along with a photo of the two from their time as teammates.

The bond between Dončić and Irving remains strong, even after their time together on the Mavericks came to an end.
LeBron James, another former teammate from Irving’s Cavaliers days, sent his well wishes as well. James tweeted,
