In an electrifying moment at Madison Square Garden last night, a New York Knicks fan became the center of attention by sinking a half-court shot to win a brand new car.

The fan, who was participating in a shooting contest during the fourth quarter of the Knicks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game, hit the shot with a one-handed heave that left the crowd in awe. The shot was so perfect that legendary commentator Mike Breen couldn’t help but exclaim,

“One handed! Perfect.”

The fan even enthusiastically hugged Hollywood star Ben Stiller, told the actor, “I love you,” as he was mobbed by in-arena staff.

However, the rest of the night wasn’t as bright for Knicks fans. The Timberwolves dominated the game, finishing with a commanding 116-99 victory over the Knicks.

Wolves superstar Anthony Edwards had a standout performance, finishing with 36 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists, including eight three-pointers. The Wolves’ victory was a tough pill to swallow for Knicks fans, but at least one fan left the arena with a new car and a memory that will last a lifetime.
