In the latest episode of The Draymond Show, Golden State Warriors’ forward Draymond Green had high praise for his teammate Dennis Schröder, calling him an “alpha male” who brings a much-needed demeanor to the team. Green expressed his admiration for Schröder’s impact on the Warriors since joining the team.
“Man, I love playing with Dennis on our team,” Green said. “He brings a feistiness that we need at the guard spot. He brings a demeanor that we need… an alpha male that doesn’t hurt anymone.”
Green went on to highlight Schröder’s contributions on both ends of the court, noting how his presence has elevated the team’s performance.
“Dennis has been a game-changer for us. He’s not just a scorer; he’s a playmaker, a defender, and a leader. Having him on the team has made a big difference.”
Green not only praised Schröder’s play, but also his honesty and ability to speak his mind… even to him, a seasoned veteran on the team.
“The other day in the Memphis game… I haven’t had a teammate say anything like that to me in years. He was like ‘Yo! Keep talking to them. We at these boys. They ain’t cut like that’. And I’m like ‘you’re right! Absolutely!’ He’s like, ‘but you’re talking to the refs too much, talk to the Grizzlies, we talking to them, get off the refs’. I came back out in the second half locked in. I hit him after the game and said ‘I appreciate you saying that to me.’ Not many people will say that to me, and I’m thankful for that.”

The episode also featured guest appearances from Baron Davis and other NBA personalities, who echoed Green’s sentiments about Schröder’s impact. Davis, a former NBA player and close friend of Green, added,
“Dennis has brought a new dynamic to the Warriors. His speed and quickness are unmatched, and he’s really made a difference for the team.”
Green’s praise for Schröder comes at a time when the Warriors are looking to solidify their position in the competitive Western Conference. With Schröder’s consistent performances and Green’s leadership, the Warriors are optimistic about their chances for a deep playoff run.
