Domantas Sabonis is having quite a season for the Sacramento Kings. The 26-year old big man has been on stardom for years now, but he still caught plenty of people by surprise with his role and significance with the Kings this season.
Sabonis is pretty much dominant near the basket, creative enough to be a complimentary piece for multiple shot-makers, and a physical player who knows how to control the boards. Sabonis doesn’t only average 19.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game, but he also pairs it with a stunning 7.3 assists per game which is insanely good for someone his size.
Kings head coach Mike Brown couldn’t help but marvel at the way Sabonis plays the game with his unique abilities for a big man. He now compared the Kings All-Star to Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green.
“He is as close to Draymond Green as any big man I’ve seen in terms of someone who can get it off the glass, bring it up, and make the right play,”
