NBA Twitter Angrily Reacts To Staples Center Being Renamed To Crypto.com Arena
As we’ve reported earlier this morning, one of the world’s most famous sport venues will be chaining its names soon.
Los Angeles’ legendary Staples Center is getting renamed to Crypto.com Arena on December 25, in what is believed to be the largest U.S. venue naming rights deal to date.
Many Lakers fans have always associated the franchise with their iconic home, since they’ve been playing at Staples ever since. So it’s obvious that many fans, and NBA Twitter in general couldn’t believe it and started hating.
that’s probably how the OG lakers fans felt about it going from The Forum to Staples Center tho (Crypto awful name tho)

The only name name the Staples Center should do is calling it Kobe Bryant Arena. It’s the house Kobe Built!
