Beating And Tying Teammates Up, Pooping In Each Other’s Shoes – Trevor Booker On The Dysfunctional & Crazy Wizards Team

After being drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 23rd pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, Trevor Booker was traded to the Washington Wizards on draft night. He stayed in Washington for four years, making a name for himself with his old-school type play.

It was that Washington team that caused a lot of trouble, but also some great stories. Booker joined the team only months after the Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton gun incident. But even after that, the team wouldn’t stop acting unprofessionally, with some unbelievable stories, like Arenas pooping in Andray Blatche’s shoes.

Booker spoke with Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype about those crazy Wizards days, and calls them the most fun he’s ever had in the NBA.

“Thinking back on it, it was the most terrible team I’ve probably been on, but it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had in the NBA. Because those guys didn’t care at all. I would come into the locker room, the day of a game, and watch one player cut up the suite of another player. One guy took a sh*t in another guy’s shoe. Oh my goodness, I have stories for days! We would go on the road and we would break into each other’s rooms, and beat a player up, tie him up. There are so many stories I got from those Washington days. It was so much fun, but looking back on it… oh my goodness! It was so unprofessional.”
