Warriors GM Bob Myers Says Kevin Durant Doesn’t Deserve A Contract Like Stephen Curry!

Bob Myers lived up to his name, being the coolest among all NBA General Managers once again.

He played an important role during the Warriors’ championship parade, had a couple of drinks and some savage interviews. One of these interviews was (jokingly) throwing major shade at Kevin Durant who was sitting just behind him.

You see, earlier this week Myers told reporters Monday that Durant can sign any deal he wants.

“Sometimes you don’t negotiate,” Meyers said. “I’d love to have him for 10 years. Kevin Durant, look what he did for us last year, he did us a great service, so he’s earned the right to sign whatever deal he wants.”

When asked about this statement during the parade, Myers clowned Durant by saying:

“That was just for the media. He can’t have anything like that at all… midlevel, behind closed doors.” When asked about giving Curry the contract he wanted, Myers replied: “That was different. He’s been here from the ‘way-before days’. He’s earned it.”
