Twitter Ripped Danny Green And Markieff Morris After Lakers’ Game 5 Loss

Game 5 of the 2020 NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers definitely was not for the faint-hearted.

The thriller wasn’t decided before the final buzzer ended things after four hard-fought quarters.

While the Heat ended up being victorious, the Lakers had the chance to win their 17th championship twice, when LeBron James threw a mid-air pass to a wide open Danny Green at the top of the three point line.

Green missed the potential game-winner, but Markieff Morris grabbed the rebound with 5.9 seconds on the clock. But instead of taking the open shot, or passing it to LeBron James who was wide open, or even back to Green, who also was step open, Morris took one dribble and tried to pass the ball to Anthony Davis, only to miss him by a mile.

These two mishaps have led to Lakers fans, and NBA Twitter in general, ripping Green and Morris after the loss. They didn’t go easy on them, and even Snoop Dogg joined in on the fun…
