The Biggest Robbery In Dunk Contest History

 

February 18, 2006 – Philadelphia 76ers guard Andre Iguodala fell just short of claiming the 2006 Slam Dunk Contest crown in a controversial series of decisions that led to Iguodala earning lower scores for late dunks that were arguably more impressive than some of his earlier slams. Also at the crux of the debate was Nate Robinson’s lack of judge-related repercussion for missing over a dozen attempts in one instance prior to completing his turn. Robinson would eventually take home top honors.
