Shaquille O’Neal Blasts Today’s Generation Of NBA Players: “I Wish I Was Playing With These Buttercups Right Now, It’ll Be A Slaughterhouse”

Shaquille O’Neal etched his name as arguably the most dominant player to ever play the game of basketball. He was a walking 30 and 10 machine on a nightly basis and was a very imposing figure that had to deal with least two defenders every possession.

Shaq dominated an era where the offense was a battle down low, and the physicality was on a higher level. Since he was used to playing within that brand of basketball, Shaq would often times expresses that he isn’t too keen on today’s NBA and generation of players.

Such was the case during a recent episode of “The Big Podcast With Shaq” where the former Los Angeles Lakers big man labeled today’s NBA players as buttercups and expressed how he would dominate them if he was still playing today.

Per Lakers Daily:

“It’s a lot of guys being mentioned now and only a few you can pick from this dimension and bring them in. LeBron, Steph guys like that, but I’m mentioned with the old aliens. So like people always, you hating, you hating. It’s not that I’m hating, I wish I was playing with these buttercups right now, I wish I was. I promise you I wish I was playing. Ah, it’ll be a slaughterhouse up there.”
