Richard Jefferson Reveals He’d Choose Kyrie Irving To Take The Game-Winning Shot Ahead Of LeBron James And Stephen Curry

Richard Jefferson wasn’t quite a household name during his career, but he was a very solid player who produced early on and was able to sustain a long career while maintaining a positive impact whether it was in the locker room or on the court.

Jefferson is now serving as a sports analyst on ESPN while making a regular stint on a number of sports media groups and programs. As it so happens, the player-turned-analyst recently made an appearance on ‘Called Game’ with Kenny Beecham where they shared and explored several interesting topics.

During the conversation, Jefferson was asked about which player he rather would choose to take the game-winning shot when the game is on the line. Jefferson had a tough time at first, but he eventually answered what was asked of him and picked Kyrie Irving ahead of LeBron, James, Stephen Curry, Dirk Nowitzki and the rest.

“I’m gonna give it to the one person, and he’s not the best person I’ve played with, because I’ve played with Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron and Steph, all these people. But the person that hit the biggest shot I’ve ever been part of is Kyrie… “

“(I’d pick Kyrie) if I had to have one person. Because that shot changed my life,”
