Towards the end of Game 1 of this year’s NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Stephen Curry and LeBron James had a little trash-talking altercation.

The Athletic’s Marcus Thompson now revealed what was actually said in the ‘conversation’ between the two superstars. Since Thompson is a friend of Curry, the information may have directly come from the two time MVP.
LeBron: “Get that sh*t out of here (same thing he said to Curry after his huge block in the 2016 Finals).”
Curry: “That’s what you want to brag about right now? That’s what you care about?” He then pointed to the scoreboard.
LeBron shoved Curry and said: “Get out of my face.”
That was basically it. This was nothing more than a little trash-talk between two competitors who respect each other. The whole incident was somewhat overblown.
