Ray Allen Reveals His All-Time Favorite Teammates

This year’s Hall of Fame class is absolutely special. Yes, every HoF class consists of special players, but this coming Friday, Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, Mo Cheeks and Ray Allen will be inducted.

Prior to being inducted, Allen, who still leads the NBA in 3-point field goals made with 2,973, talked to The Athletic’s Shams Charania about his favorite teammates. In his career, Ray played for Milwaukee, Seattle, Boston and Miami and has had some amazing teammates over the years. But when asked about his favorite teammates of all time, the 10-time All-Star named LeBron James and Sam Cassell.

“Toss-up between Sam Cassell and LeBron James. Sam was a guy you wanted to go to battle with. He wouldn’t quit on you and do whatever he could. He never wore bad body language. LeBron is a guy who you’ll have fun with, he’ll compete with you, but he is always one of the guys. He never made himself bigger than the next man,” said Allen.
