Ouch! Richard Jefferson Rather Retired Than Play For The Knicks

During his active playing career, Richard Jefferson was a legend. He was the undefeated king of NBA players’ snapchats, extremly funny during interviews, and one of the most articulate and well-spoken people in the entire NBA.

But, even though he’s been retired from professional basketball for a while now, RJ hasn’t stopped with the savagery.

Last night, Jefferson joined the YES Network broadcasting crew for the Nets vs Knicks game and said that he refused to play for the Knicks, and rather retired.

“I refused to play for the Knicks. Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin, they don’t really care. Me… I was the one person that said, ‘Knicks? No. I’ll retire.’ That’s why I retired. They were the one team that offered me a job, and I decided to retire. It’s true. I decided to retire instead of playing for the Knicks.”
