NBA Twitter Obliterated The Sacramento Kings For Trading Tyrese Haliburton

For the 1985-86 NBA season, the Kings Franchise relocated from Kansas City to Sacramento, a city the Kings call its home till today.

If we take away the team’s sole successful era between 1998 and 2006, the Kings only made the playoffs twice in 28 years since moving to Sacramento, and not for a single time in the past 15 years.

While it certainly doesn’t look like we’re in for a change this year, the Kings at least had one of the NBA’s most promising young prospects in Tyrese Haliburton. HAD?

Yes, unbelievably enough the Kings traded Tyrese Haliburton, who just said that he’s a member of the Sacramento Kings and he’s here to help fix things, no matter how long it’s going to take, to the Indiana Pacers.

Heres the entire trade:

The Pacers get: Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson

The Kings get: Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb, Justin Holiday and a 2027 second-round pick.

I thought everyone on the Kings was available except for Tyrese Haliburton. Well, it came different and NBA Twitter obliterated the franchise for the trade.
