Miles Bridges Charged With Domestic Violence And Child Abuse

Earlier this week, Miles Bridges was arrested for felony domestic violence in Los Angeles. The 24-year old Hornets star turned himself into a local jail regarding an alleged physical altercation that happened this past Tuesday, and was released after posting bail.

In the aftermath, Bridges’ wife, Mychelle Johnson, the alleged victim of the attack went public and shared some horrific details and pictures.  She revealed that Bridges broke her nose and fractured her wrist, while also suffering a torn eardrum and torn muscles in her neck from being choked unconscious, as well as a severe concussion.

The free agent forward is now facing one felony count of injuring a child’s parent and two felony counts of child abuse under circumstances or conditions likely to cause great bodily injury or death, per WBTV:

“Domestic violence creates physical, mental and emotional trauma that has a lasting impact on survivors,” District Attorney George Gascón said. “Children who witness family violence are especially vulnerable and the impact on them is immeasurable. Mr. Bridges will be held accountable for his actions and our Bureau of Victim Services will support the survivors through this difficult process.”
