Miami Heat Forward Haywood Highsmith Involved In Horrible Car Crash
According to various reports, Miami Heat forward Haywood Highsmith was involved in a car crash on Tuesday night, after the game against the Orlando Magic. Highsmith hit a person who was helping another driver stuck in the middle of the road.
The person who was hit suffered a partial amputation of his leg and is in critical condition. Highsmith was not injured and was not arrested in the incident. He missed Wednesday’s game against San Antonio for personal reasons. The Heat expressed their sympathy for the injured person and said they are cooperating with the authorities.
Highsmith was not suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash.
