LeBron James Will Join Exclusive $1 Billion Club This Season

LeBron James hasn’t only been the best player in the NBA for a long time, but also the league’s top earning athlete in seven straight years.

James just turned 36-years old last December, yet he’s still able to dominate today’s young bucks and rising stars. At this point, it’s just irresistible to acknowledge the longevity and consistency that LeBron is showing in year 18.

4 Championship rings, 4 Finals MVP awards, 4 regular season MVP awards, 2 All-Star Game MVP awards, 2 Olympic gold medals, 16 All-Star Game nominations, 16 All NBA Teams, 5 All Defensive First Teams, and the Rookie of the Year Award.

But James is still hungry for more and is adding new records to his resume on the regular. One milestone he’ll definitely be adding to his resume soon is historic. The four-time MVP is expected to make $95.4 million this season, $64 million of which stem from endorsements, memorabilia and media deals.

These $95.4 million will push his career earnings to $1 billion ($700 million off the court), leading to LeBron joining only Tiger Woods, Floyd Mayweather, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in reaching the billion dollar milestone in their active careers.
