LeBron James’ Drew League Opponent Dion Wright Pleads For NBA Opportunity: “Take A Real Chance On Me”

LeBron James made headlines when he returned at the Drew League for the first time in 11 years. But he wasn’t the only one who took the forefront of news during that period. One player who also caught everyone’s attention was LeBron’s opponent named Dion Wright.

Wright, a former St. Bonaventure University player, went viral on social media after he was seen making some wide-eyed expressions while defending the four-time NBA champion. Though Wright technically became a meme, some people still gave him his props for taking on the difficult challenge.

More than a month since facing LeBron, the 31-year old viral Drew League player, now tells his dream to make it to the NBA and is now asking for any NBA team or general manager to give him an opportunity to showcase his talent.

Per The Guardian:

“I just want one team – one person, one GM – to take a real chance on me,” Wright said. “I know for a fact they’ll never regret it.”
